#ThrowBackThursday: Alala by Adejoke Taiwo
Nigerian designer Adejoke Taiwo took her creative game to another level last year with her 2011 "Alala" collection. Alala is a yoruba word meaning 'Dreamer' in english. The talented designer is first generation Canadian with roots in Nigeria. She first became interested in creating clothing at age six- from that age there was no stopping her. She attended sewing schools, and art and photography classes throughout her childhood- later on pursuing post secondary education in Costume for Theater, and obtaining a Bachelor of Design Fashion.
